Description

GRE syllabus includes three components – Analytical Writing, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. Verbal Reasoning component of GRE has two question types: Fill in the Blanks (FIB) and Reading Comprehension (RC). Moreover, to have a fair chance of scoring in FIB, one needs to have a command over 2,000+ high frequency GRE words.

GRE Verbal course at aKademy helps you gain competencies in both FIB and RC. The course curriculum is split into a total of five modules. Out of them, three modules are dedicated to helping you build vocabulary followed by application of these words in FIB. More than 2,000 words you need to learn are categorized into three themes – personalities of people, qualities of things and study of subjects. Each one of the three modules focuses on one of the above themes and tops it up with practice of FIB. The other two modules focus on RC – one module emphasizes on structural reading, while the other module is dedicated to logic. Logic module also covers Argument topic, which is one of the two essays you need to write as part of Analytical Writing component of GRE. Note: The other essay called Issue topic is covered in GRE Quant course.

To sum up, once you enroll in the GRE Verbal course, the curriculum is divided into five modules. Apart from the presentations, lecture notes and quizzes available as part of the course content, you also get access to live lectures!
