Online GRE

GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is needed to do MS / PhD in the United States. GRE has three components – Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Writing. Test preparation for GRE includes conceptual understanding and logical framework needed to solve problems in Quantitative Reasoning, attempt questions in Verbal Reasoning and write essays in Analytical Writing.

At aKademy.live, we have two online courses GRE Quant and GRE Verbal that help students gain the required expertise to get a top score in GRE. Through live lectures and online practice tests, these two courses would help student become competent to handle all the three components of GRE.

GRE Quant course at aKademy.live has five modules – Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra, Data Analysis and Coordinate Geometry. Coordinate Geometry module includes Issue – one of the two essays in Analytical Writing. Apart from online practice tests, we organize live lectures (using Zoom webinars) to help students gain conceptual understanding. Each week, one of the five modules would be the focus, as our experienced faculty goes in-depth into that module through live lectures. The lectures happen for 5 weeks in the morning followed by 5 weeks in the evening and so on.

GRE Verbal course at aKademy.live has five modules – three Modules are related to Vocabulary building and Fill in the blanks (Personality, Quality and Study modules), while 2 Modules are related to Reading comprehension – Structural Reading and Logic. Logic module includes Argument – one of the two essays in Analytical Writing.

Note: The lectures are planned in such a way that when a GRE Quant module happens in the morning, a GRE Verbal module happens in the evening. After 5 weeks, once the five modules are over, GRE Quant modules shift to evening, while GRE Verbal modules shift to morning. This continues cyclically. So, if you enroll in both GRE Quant and GRE Verbal courses, you can attend either morning or evening lectures and complete the entire GRE syllabus in 10 weeks. Alternatively, if you can attend both morning and evening lectures, the entire GRE syllabus can be covered in just 5 weeks!
